I have been looking forward to photographing Caleb and Moriah’s wedding since she contacted me almost a year ago. I have known Moriah since we were 12 years old, and I felt so honored to be asked to capture her special day. I’ll be honest, the weather was making me nervous come wedding day. They were giving about a 70% chance of rain, and I don’t want anyone to have a rainy wedding day (whether I'm attending, photographing, or just know someone's getting married, I always worry about the girls' hair, pictures, etc... - I'm weird like that lol). However, the weather turned out just perfect! Even though it did rain, it held off long enough to get some outdoors shots beforehand, and it stopped just in time to get our shots after the ceremony. Thank goodness!
We started the day at one o’clock. Moriah wanted to go ahead and get some family and bridal portraits out of the way before the ceremony to give her extra time for couple pictures later in the day. I got some gorgeous shots of the lovely bride to be as well as a few of her and her bridesmaids.
Caleb and Moriah wanted to keep the tradition not to see each other before the ceremony. It makes it difficult when photographing outside, so with the help of Moriah’s posse of people (bridesmaids, parents, and my second-shooter Tiffany), we kept her hid long enough for Caleb to make it down the road that runs right in front of where we were taking pictures.
The ceremony was held at three o'clock. It was a beautiful ceremony with a barn full of family and friends gathered together to watch Caleb and Moriah begin this next chapter together.
After the ceremony, family formals were taken immediately followed by some group shots of the bridal party. This was such a fun group to work with!
We then focused on the groomsmen shots. They were definitely cut-ups, but again this made them so much work with. (The first picture was totally their idea lol). ;)
Next came the couple shots! Oh my goodness, these two are so cute together! I think we ended up getting a lot of beautiful shots of Mr. and Mrs. Williford!
These shots were soon followed by the meal and the cutting of the cake. Moriah definitely got him good!
Last but not least was their first dance together as a married couple! Awww…
Congratulations Caleb & Moriah! I wish you two only the best as you begin this new adventure. I hope you’ll have lifetime full of laughter, happiness, and love as you begin the next chapter together.
